What is Kids’ Connection?
Kids’ Connection is a place where children in our community, grades Kindergarten through 5th, can grow spiritually, socially and emotionally through the connections made with other children and our volunteers. We provide a free, fun, caring and safe environment that will encourage creativity, cooperation and responsibility.
Kids’ Connection has grown. We have moved to four days a week to accommodate the growth.
- Mondays & Wednesdays from 3:30 – 5:30 3rd through 5th Grade meets
- Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30 – 5:30 Kindergarten through 2nd Grade meets
Each child will need to fill out a registration form available from the Child Form link, or available at the First Reformed Church office. Kids’ Connection will include a Bible story, Bible verse memorization, snacks, free play activities, interactive physical activities, crafts, service work, help with homework, etc.
Kids’ Connection needs you! Consider becoming a volunteer at Kids’ Connection. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with young children in our community, share your passions and gifts, and make Christ known to them by your words and deeds. Volunteer training is available and your hours can be extremely flexible. Check out our Volunteer Info page to find out more, and get the volunteer form. We are also putting out a call for supplies. Take a look at our KC Supplies page for items we need.
